OC - Meet Isla #2 (Costumes)

Part 2 of my overdue "Intro to Isla": "Isla is a shy wallflower in her early 20s struggling to navigate the world after a strictly sheltered upbringing. To break free from her reserved nature, she has become the "Architect of a New Self," deliberately using bold and risqué outfits as a form of visual armour. She operates on the sincere, if slightly mechanical, belief that by wearing the clothes of a confident woman, she can literally "grow into" the matching personality—engineering a metamorphosis from the outside in. This experiment in self-confidence is anchored by her signature lace choker and heart-buckle thigh strap, consistent elements that keep her grounded even when she feels overexposed. Isla is particularly drawn to the structured presence of traditional attire and uniforms, using their inherent authority to help her occupy the social spaces she once avoided. The result is a striking "gap moe" effect—a stylish, worldly exterior that hides a sweet, easily flustered soul still learning how to stand on her own."
